 Genesis

Most of the Nepalese people at a grass-roots level have been deprived of the basics in life due in part to a lack of proper information, communication, education, public awareness, equal access and opportunities to development and equitable and sustainable community development as well.

As a result, their lives are extremely difficult and they are trapped in an insidious cycle of hunger and poverty throughout their life.

KAPINCE-NEPAL came into existence on 16 Dec., 1997 with a vision to help improve the living conditions of the poor, disadvantaged and underprivileged people enhancing their skills and capacity in order to build sustainable livelihoods through information, communication, awareness and advocacy.

Since its inception, KAPINCE-NEPAL has been working with at a grass-roots level empowering them with information, communication and awareness towards a future of equitable and sustainable community development.
