Where are we? | | The Village Development Committee Sihokhor is situated 8 km. to the west of Taulihawa the district headquarters bordering India in the south. It is one of the least developed VDCs in Kapilvastu district. infact, the whole Kapilvastu district itself has fallen back in the pace of equitable and sustainable development due to lack of infrastructure for development, wide spread illiteracy as well as abject poverty. While it has its own unique culture and history of being the ancient Kingdom of Lord Buddha this VDC has the lowest literacy rate, 13 percent in the district.
